It has been an underwhelming year for the Tigers, but they did finish the regular season on a positive note and Brian Kelly tends to get his hands on the trophy at the end of Bowl Games.

LSU were force to settle for a Bowl Game invite as three straight defeats between late October and the middle of November ended their playoff hopes.
The Tigers suffered a surprise 27-20 defeat to USC on opening weekend, but rallied to win their next six games, including a 29-26 upset of Ole Miss.
That surge was halted at the end of October though, as they crashed to a 38-23 defeat at Texas A&M that knocked them out of the top 10.
LSU were then blown out at home by Alabama, 42-13, before falling to a 27-16 defeat when they visited Florida.
That loss knocked the Tigers out of the rankings all together, although they did at least rebound with home wins over Vanderbilt, 24-17, and Oklahoma, 37-17.
Baylor Form
Baylor secured a Bowl Game invite as they rebounded from a rough start to the season by winning six straight games to finish 8-4.
The Bears lost four of their first six games of the season, with each one of those defeats coming in Big 12 action.
That rough run included a 34-28 loss to BYU and a 43-21 defeat to Iowa State, but they were able to rescue their season after that loss to the Cyclones.
Baylor beat Texas Tech 59-35 on the road, and then returned home to down Oklahoma State, 38-28, and TCU, 37-34.
The Bears went out on the road after that to take down West Virginia, 49-35, and Houston 20-10, before wrapping up the regular season with a 45-17 home win over Kansas.
