Duke go into their March Madness opener on a fantastic run of form, having won 31 of their 34 games this season and each of the last 11.
The Blue Devils have not tasted defeat since the 77-71 loss when they visited Clemson back on February 8.
They issued an immediate response and went on to close out the regular season on an eight-game win streak.
Duke kept that tear going at the ACC tournament as they beat Georgia Tech 78-70 and North Carolina 74-71 to make it to the final.
The Blue Devils then clinched the conference championship with a 73-62 victory over Louisville.
Mount St Mary's Form
Mount St Mary's enter this first-round matchup having successfully negotiated the First Four with their fourth consecutive win.
The Mountaineers were inconsistent over the final 10 days of the regular season, going 2-2 in their last four games.
They did wrap up the regular season with a win though, beating Marist 62-52, and they repeated that victory in the conference tournament as they downed the Red Foxes, 62-58.
Mount St Mary's then beat Merrimack 57-55 in the semi-finals, before claiming the MAAC crown with a 63-49 victory over Iona.
That earned the Mountaineers a shot at March Madness, and they progressed to the first round with an 83-72 win over American.
