Michigan State enter the national tournament looing to rebound from a disappointing end to their conference championship hopes.
The Spartans closed out the regular season on a great run of form, rebounding from a defeat on February 11 with seven consecutive wins.
That run included a 71-62 success when they hosted the team that would eventually ruin their Big Ten bid, Wisconsin.
Michigan State made it eight wins on the bounce when they opened their conference tournament campaign with a 74-64 victory over Oregon.
However, the Spartans then fell in the semi-finals, losing 77-74 when they took on Wisconsin.
Bryant Form
Bryant go into the first round of March Madness as a team in form, having won each of their previous six games.
The Bulldogs’ last defeat came back on February 20 when they suffered a 59-55 defeat on the road at Vermont.
They rebounded from that loss to win their final three regular season games, beating Massachusetts-Lowell 79-78 and Maine 80-72 on the road, and New Hampshire 90-56 at home.
Bryant then progressed to the final of the AEC tournament as they beat Maryland-Baltimore County 85-74 and Albany NY 91-78.
The Bulldogs made it six-in-a-row in the final, beating Maine 79-59 to claim the conference crown.
