Clemson enter the 2026 campaign looking to issue an emphatic response to a 2025 season that saw them win just seven games.
The Tigers went into last season with high expectations, only to lose 17-10 at home to LSU on opening night, and then lose two of their next three games.
They rallied on the road with victories at North Carolina and Boston College, but their hopes of an ACC Championship and a College Football Playoff spot were destroyed when they lost back-to-back home games, falling 35-24 to SMU and 46-45 to Duke.
Clemson did end their ACC slate on a positive note, beating Florida State 24-10 and Louisville 20-19, before downing Furman 45-10 and South Carolina 28-14.
The Tigers were unable to make it five-in-a-row though, as they were beaten 22-10 by Penn State in the Pinstripe Bowl.

LSU come into the new season with a new head coach in Lane Kiffin, and they will be keen to get back in the playoff picture after a poor 2025.
The Tigers kicked off last season with a four-game win streak that saw them down Clemson 17-10 on the road and beat Florida in their SEC opener, 20-10.
Their form collapsed after that though, as they lost four times in five games to see their SEC Championship quest end before it ever got off of the ground.
LSU’s miserable run resulted in the firing of Brian Kelly as head coach, and interim coach Frank Wilson led the team to two wins in their final four regular season games.
Wilson also took charge for the Texas Bowl against Houston, which the Tigers lost 38-35 to close out the season.
