Georgia at Missouri Preview & Picks – Georgia To Cover In Blowout Missouri Win

Georgia at Missouri Preview & Picks

Georgia are tipped to cover in a blowout road win.

The Bulldogs produced an error-strewn performance in an ugly win against Kent State last weekend.

A repeat of that is highly unlikely though – the offense is expected to fire and the defense is backed to dominate.

  • Georgia are 10-1-0 ATS in their last 11 road or neutral venue games
  • Georgia have won the last 3 meetings by an average of 33 points
  • Georgia are winning by an average of 34.25 points per game this season
  • The Under has cashed in all 4 of Georgia’s games so far
  • 3 of Georgia’s first 4 games have produced under 55.5 total points

Head To Head

  • Georgia lead the all-time series 10-1
  • Georgia won 43-6 when the teams last met in November 2021

Georgia Form

Georgia continue to top the rankings after improving to 4-0 last weekend.

The Bulldogs rolled over #11 Oregon, 49-3, in their season-opener, and then shutout Samford 33-0 before easing to a 48-7 victory.

They were able to maintain their perfect record at home to Kent State last Saturday, but the performance was anything but perfect as they gave up a season-high 22 points.

Georgia had been 45-point favorites heading into the game, but committed a bunch of mistakes as they made hard work of a 39-22 victory.

Through four games QB Stetson Bennett is 92/124 for 1,224 yards, five touchdowns and a pick, while he has also rushed for 44 yards and four scores.

Brock Bowers has been a huge weapon, racking up 276 receiving yards and two touchdowns, as well as 82 rushing yards and three scores.

Out of the backfield, Kenny McIntosh has 324 yards from scrimmage and two TDs, while Kendall Milton leads the Bulldogs in rushing with 208 yards and three scores.

Last weekend’s win saw the Bulldogs defense struggle to repeat their dominant performances over the first three weeks.

As a result, Georgia are giving up 10.7 points and 300.3 yards per game, while averaging two takeaways per matchup.

Missouri Form

Missouri go into this game on the back of a loss and with a 2-2 record through their first four games.

The Tigers opened with a 52-24 win at home to Louisiana Tech, only to then lose 40-12 to Kansas State in their next outing.

They bounced back with a 34-17 success against Abilene Christian, but immediately returned to losing ways with a 17-14 defeat to Auburn.

QB Brady Cook is 69/109 for 805 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions, while also rushing for 158 yards and two TDs.

Dominic Lovett is Missouri’s leading receiver with 376 yards and two touchdowns.

Out of the backfield, Nathanial Peat is the leading rusher with 225 yards and one TD, while Cody Schrader has 173 yards and three TDs on the ground.

And on the opposite side of the football, the Tigers are giving up 27.0 points and 300.0 yards per game.
