North Carolina rebounded on the road with wins over Virginia, 41-14, and Florida State, 35-11, before returning home to down Wake Forest, 31-24.
The Tar Heels failed to keep that run going though, as they wrapped up the regular season with a 41-20 defeat at Boston College and a 35-30 home loss to NC State.

UConn earned themselves a Bowl Game invite by putting together an 8-4 record during the regular season.
The Huskies lost two of their first three games, but rallied in late September with a three-game win streak.
They then bounced back from a 23-20 loss to Wake Forest with another run of three consecutive wins, beating Rice 17-10 and Georgia State 34-27 at home, and UAB 31-23 on the road.
UConn failed to make it four wins in a row, as they suffered a 31-24 road defeat at the hands of Syracuse.
The Huskies did end the regular season with a win though, downing Massachusetts in a shootout, 47-42.
