Baltimore Ravens at Atlanta Falcons Predictions & Picks

Baltimore are tipped to cover as a betting underdog in this Sunday Night Football showdown.

The Ravens are coming up against a stout Falcons run defense, but the Falcons can be got at through the air so whoever lines up at quarterback can enjoy success in the passing game.

Atlanta, meanwhile, will try to lean on the run game, so a close matchup appears likely.
  • Baltimore Ravens are 3-1 this season
  • Atlanta Falcons are 0-1-0 ATS at home this season
  • The Under hit in Atlanta’s previous home game
  • The Under has cashed in 4 of the last 5 meetings

Head To Head

  • Baltimore Ravens lead the all-time series 5-2
  • Baltimore Ravens won 17-9 when the two teams last met in December 2022

Baltimore Ravens Form

Baltimore head to Atlanta having won back-to-back games to improve their record to 3-1.

The Ravens opened the season on the road, and enjoyed a successful start as they beat Indianapolis 41-23.

They failed to follow that up in their home opener as they lost 24-17 to New Orleans, but that remains their only loss to date.

Baltimore bounced back when they paid a visit to Brazil, beating Dallas in a high-scoring matchup, 34-31.

The Ravens then followed that up on home soil last weekend, as they beat Tennessee 24-18.

Atlanta Falcons Form

Atlanta go into this matchup having rebounded from back-to-back losses to get back to .500.

The Falcons kicked off the campaign with a trip to Pittsburgh, and suffered a 20-13 defeat at the hands of the Steelers.

They then slipped to 0-2 a week later as they were blown out in their home opener by Carolina, losing 34-3.

Atlanta have not lost since though, kick-starting their season with an impressive 35-14 Thursday night win at Green Bay.

The Falcons then followed that up in New Orleans on Monday night, as they blew out the Saints in the Superdome, 45-24.

Verdict

Atlanta are coming off the back of a dominant division win, but Baltimore have a little momentum themselves.

Both teams like to lean on the ground game, but both are coming up against stout run defenses, so we like the free points and a Ravens team that has the better passing attack.
