Denver Broncos at San Francisco 49ers Predictions & Picks

San Francisco are tipped to cover as they keep their perfect record intact.

The 49ers are dealing with a bunch of injuries on defense, but they have been able to overcome that with an offense that ranks second in the league in points per game, and Purdy & Co. can lead them to another win here.
  • San Francisco 49ers are 2-1-0 ATS this season
  • Denver Broncos are 2-7-0 ATS in their last 9 road games
  • San Francisco 49ers are averaging 32.7 points per game
  • The Over cashed in San Francisco’s 2 previous home games

Head To Head

  • The all-time series is tied 8-8
  • Denver Broncos won 11-10 when the two teams last met in September 2022

Denver Broncos Form

Denver head out on the road for the first time since Week 1 looking to extend a winning run that has lifted them to 2-1.

The Broncos opened the season with a trip to face division rivals Kansas City, and they returned home empty-handed thanks to a 31-10 defeat.

They rebounded a week later in their home opener, but it took a second-half fightback for them to see off Jacksonville, 20-13.

Denver needed more of the same last weekend too, as they put up 30 points in the second half to edge the Los Angeles Rams, 30-26.

Bo Nix finished the game 17/34 for 186 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, while they struggled to get the run game going as they put up just 78 yards on the ground.

San Francisco 49ers Form

San Francisco go into their third straight home game boasting a 100% record that includes two wins over division rivals.

The 49ers kicked off the season with a long trip to Melbourne to face the Los Angeles Rams, and they made the trip worthwhile as they came away with a 27-7 victory.

They made it back-to-back wins in their home opener a week later, as they dominated Miami in a 35-13 victory.

San Francisco then made it three-in-a-row last time out, as they saw off a stubborn Arizona team, 36-30.

Brock Purdy went 15/27 for 297 yards and four touchdowns, while Christian McCaffrey put up 116 total yards and a touchdown.

Verdict

San Francisco’s win over Arizona was far from convincing, but they continue to find ways to get the job done in the face of injuries.

Purdy and the offense are firing on all cylinders right now, so we are backing the Niners to make it four-in-a-row this Sunday.
