The Eagles opened the season with a victory in Brazil, but were hit or miss over the first few weeks as they won just two of their first four games.
They turned things around in October though, embarking on a 10-game win streak that secured a place in the playoffs
Philadelphia then rebounded from a 36-33 defeat to Washington with back-to-back wins to finish the regular season with a 14-3 record.
Those three losses cost the Eagles a postseason bye, but they made no mistakes in the first two rounds of the playoffs, beating Green Bay 22-10 and the Los Angeles Rams 28-22.
That set up an NFC Championship Game showdown with division rivals Washington, and they ran over the Commanders in a one-sided blowout, winning 55-23.

Kansas City are just one victory away from a Super Bowl three-peat, having won 17 of their 19 games to book their place in New Orleans.
No team has ever won three consecutive Super Bowls, but the Chiefs sent an early message as they beat Baltimore 27-20 on opening night.
They went on to win their first nine games of the regular season before finally seeing their run end with a 30-21 defeat to Buffalo – a loss they would later avenge.
Kansas City rebounded immediately from that loss, winning six straight games before dropping a ‘dead rubber’ with Denver on the final day of the regular season.
The Chiefs’ 15-2 record ensured a playoff bye, and when they returned to action in the Divisional round they took down Houston, 23-14.
They then secured another trip to the Super Bowl as a late Harrison Butker field goal lifted them to a 32-29 victory over Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game.
