Kansas City enter the postseason having won three of their last four games to finish 11-6 and win the AFC West once again.
The Chiefs suffered a surprise home defeat to Detroit in their season opener, but responded with a run of six consecutive wins.
They have struggled for form since their bye week though, with a spluttering offense causing them to go 4-4 over their last eight games.
Kansas City did win three of their final four though, and that was enough to see them comfortably win the division and advance to the playoffs.
The Chiefs won 27-17 in New England, and then rebounded from a 20-14 loss to Las Vegas with a 25-17 win over Cincinnati and a 13-12 victory at the Los Angeles Chargers.
