The Eagles stormed to an 8-1 record before the bye week, and then reached 10-1 when they beat Kansas City 21-17 and Buffalo 37-354 when they returned to action.
Their form took a nose dive in December though, starting with a 42-19 blowout defeat when they hosted San Francisco.
Philadelphia then lost 33-13 in Dallas and 20-17 at Seattle, before finally stopping the rot with a 33-25 victory over the New York Giants.
The Eagles failed to build on that win though, suffering a 35-31 defeat to Arizona before losing 27-10 at the New York Giants.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Form
Tampa Bay come into this Wildcard game in good form, having won five of their last six games to finish 9-8.
The Buccaneers’ postseason aspirations suffered a setback when they lost six times in a seven-game spell to fall to 4-7.
They turned things around round at the start of December though, kicking off a good run of form with a 21-18 win against Carolina.
Tampa Bay then won back-to-back road games, 29-25 in Atlanta and 34-20 at Green Bay, before making it four-in-a-row with a 30-12 win against Jacksonville.
The Buccaneers missed out on a fifth consecutive win when they were beaten 23-13 by New Orleans, but they hit back immediately to beat Carolina 9-0 and seal a playoff place.
