New York Jets at Las Vegas Raiders Preview & Picks

Las Vegas are tipped to cover as a home underdog.

A coaching change has sparked life into the Raiders, while the Jets have regressed in recent weeks.

The hosts can lean on the run game to chew up the clock and, at the very least, cover the spread.

  • Las Vegas Raiders are 3-0-0 ATS in their last 3 home games
  • New York Jets are 0-2-0 ATS in their last 2 games
  • The Under has hit in each of New York’s last 3 games
  • The Under has cashed in 7 of Las Vegas’ last 9 games

Head To Head

  • Las Vegas Raiders lead the all-time series 26-20-2
  • Las Vegas Raiders won 31-28 when the two teams last met in December 2020

New York Jets Form

New York cross the country looking to rebound from a heavy home defeat that dropped them to 4-4.

The Jets opened the season with a shock 22-16 overtime win against Buffalo, but were quickly brought back down to Earth.

They lost 30-10 in Dallas, before returning home for a 15-10 defeat to New England and a 23-20 loss to Kansas City.

New York stopped the rot with a 31-21 win in Denver, and then pulled off one of the surprises of the season as they knocked off Philadelphia at home, 20-14.

The Jets stumbled to a 13-10 overtime win against the Giants a week later, only to see their three-game streak end with a 27-6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers last Monday.

Las Vegas Raiders Form

Las Vegas go into this matchup looking to build on a home win that improved their record to 4-5.

The Raiders kicked off the season with a 17-16 win in Denver, but they were immediately brought back down to Earth by a 38-10 blowout loss in Buffalo.

They then lost 23-18 at home to Pittsburgh and 24-17 at the Los Angeles Chargers, before finally stopping the rot with a 17-13 win against Green Bay.

Las Vegas then beat New England 21-17, only to then lose 30-12 in Chicago in 26-14 in Detroit, costing head coach Josh McDaniels his jobs.

The Raiders responded to McDaniels’ exit by winning their first game under interim coach Antonio Pierce, beating the New York Giants 30-6.
