Houston Gamblers at Birmingham Stallions Predictions & Picks

Houston are tipped to cover as a betting underdog in Birmingham.

The Gamblers have already beaten the Stallions once this season, and despite their losing record they have been involved in a bunch of one-score games, showing some consistency.

  • Houston Gamblers have covered in 2 of their last 3 games
  • Houston beat Birmingham when the two teams met back in April
  • The previous meeting this season produced under 44.5 total points
  • 4 of Houston Gamblers’ last 5 games have gone under 44.5 points

Head To Head

  • Birmingham Stallions lead the all-time series 4-0
  • Houston Gamblers won 22-20 when the two teams last met on April 5

Houston Gamblers Form

Houston go into their final game of the regular season having already been eliminated from playoff contention with a 3-6 record.

The Gamblers opened with a 36-17 loss at Dallas, and then failed to back up a 22-20 upset of Birmingham has they lost 45-7 to DC and 24-22 in overtime to Louisville.

They avoided a third straight loss as they beat Columbus 17-13, but their joy was short-lived.

Houston’s season was effectively ended as they fell 24-17 in Columbus and 24-23 at home to Orlando.

The Gamblers did pull off an upset the following week, beating the Battlehawks  23-16 in St Louis, but they again failed to follow up a win as they fell 21-15 at home in the rematch.

Birmingham Stallions Form

Birmingham enter their final matchup of the regular season knowing they must win to have any shot at making the postseason.

The Stallions underwent some major changes in the offseason, after seeing their Spring football dominance end in 2025, and they limped out of the blocks in 2026.

They failed to follow up a 15-13 win in Louisville as they lost 22-20 at Houston, 34-30 at St Louis, 16-0 to Orlando and 45-28 to DC.

Birmingham finally stopped the rot with a 20-17 win in Orlando, and kept their season alive with a 21-17 overtime victory over Dallas and a 14-3 win at home to Columbus.

The Stallions failed to make it four-in-a-row however, as they lost 36-29 in Columbus last weekend.
