Orlando Storm at DC Defenders Predictions & Picks

Orlando are tipped to cover as they repeat last week’s win over DC.

The Storm need another win to secure the number one seed, and they can get it against a Defenders team that has seen their form collapse and are down to their backup quarterback.

Orlando Storm Form

Orlando go into their final game of the regular season boasting a league-best record of 7-2.

The Storm were one of three teams to enter the league in the offseason, and they made a flying start as they beat Columbus 23-16 and Louisville 19-9 at home.

They then went out on the road to beat Louisville 29-27 in overtime and Birmingham 16-0 in regulation, before seeing their perfect start finally end with a 25-17 loss to St Louis.

Orlando then fell 20-17 at home to Birmingham, but snapped that skid with a 24-23 win in Houston and have not looked back.

The Storm went out on the road to down Dallas 31-24, before returning home to beat DC 27-19 last time out.

DC Defenders Form

DC enter their final game of the regular season with a playoff place secured, but on a three-game losing run.

The Defenders came into the campaign as defending champions, and responded well to losing their home opener in St Louis, 16-10.

They bounced back by beating Columbus 44-26 on the road, before heading back home where hey downed Houston 45-7 and St Louis 28-22.

DC then won 45-28 in Birmingham and 24-6 at home to Dallas, only to see their form collapse with back-to-back defeats to Louisville.

The Defenders fell 30-13 at home and 33-30 on the road, before seeing their skid reach three games last time out as they lost 27-19 in Orlando.
