Louisville Kings at Columbus Aviators Predictions & Picks

Louisville are tipped to cover as they book a playoff place in their debut season.

The Kings have found some form after a slow start, and with the offense firing they are capable of hanging plenty of points on an Aviators defense that has had some rough days.

  • Louisville Kings are 5-1 in their last 6 games
  • 4 of Louisville’s 5 victories have been by at least 3 points
  • Louisville Kings have won their last 3 road games
  • 4 of Louisville’s last 5 games have produced over 46.5 total points

Head To Head

  • This is the first ever meeting between the two teams

Louisville Kings Form

Louisville go into their final game of the regular season knowing a victory will ensure postseason football.

The Kings were one of three teams to enter the league in the offseason, but they got off to a slow start as they lost their first three games.

They fell 15-13 at home to Birmingham and then dropped back-to-back meetings with fellow newcomers Orlando, losing 19-9 on the road and 29-27 in overtime at home.

Louisville finally got off the mark with a 24-22 overtime win in Houston, and backed that up by winning 47-25 at Dallas before falling 16-3 to St Louis.

The Kings have not lost since though, beating DC 30-13 on the road and 33-30 at home, before making it three-in-a-row with a 37-23 success against Dallas last time out.

Columbus Aviators Form

Columbus enter the final game of their debut season on the back of a win, but having lost six of their nine games so far.

Like the Kings, the Aviators are also newcomers to the UFL this season, and just like their opponents on Sunday they too began life in the league with three straight defeats.

They lost 23-16 at Orlando, 44-26 to DC and 28-23 at Dallas, before finally getting on the board with a 28-14 upset up the Renegades at home.

Columbus failed to follow that up as they lost 17-13 at Houston, but they immediately avenged that loss with a 24-17 win over the Gamblers a week later.

The Aviators then went out on the road to lose 31-20 in St Louis and 14-3 at Birmingham, before downing the Stallions 36-29 at home last week.
