Saskatchewan Roughriders Form
Saskatchewan head to Montreal having now lost three straight games to fall to 8-7, meaning a playoff place is still not secure.
The Roughriders began their defence of the Grey Cup in strong fashion as they won six of their first eight games.
However, they cooled off with back-to-back defeats in the middle of August, and then failed to build on consecutive wins over Toronto, 28-24, and Winnipeg, 32-26.
Saskatchewan’s win sequence was halted by a 19-6 defeat in Winnipeg prior to their final bye week of the season.
The Roughriders then returned to action with a 31-24 defeat at the BC Lions, and a 37-31 loss at home to Calgary.
Montreal Alouettes Form
Montreal go into this matchup having already secured top spot in the East with a CFL-best 12-3 record.
The Alouettes raced out of the blocks by winning nine of their first 10 games to put themselves firmly on course for the postseason.
They then answered a 44-28 defeat at Winnipeg with a 37-30 victory over BC, only to then lose the immediate rematch with the Lions on the road, 48-29.
Montreal have not lost since though, winning back-to-back games around their final bye week.
The Alouettes went into the bye on the back of a 37-25 win in Hamilton, and then returned to action with a 37-10 home win against Winnipeg.
