Indiana at Nebraska Predictions & Picks

Nebraska are tipped to cover the spread as a home betting underdog.

Indiana are off to a perfect start thanks to their brand of efficient and disciplined football, but they have found covers hard to come by and Nebraska’s relentless run game could see them chew up the clock to keep this close.
  • Indiana are 1-4-0 ATS this season
  • Nebraska are 4-1-0 ATS through 5 games
  • The Over has cashed in 3 of Nebraska’s 4 home games
  • The Over hit in Indiana’s previous road game

Head To Head

  • Indiana lead the all-time series 11-9-3
  • Indiana won 46-7 when the two teams last met in October 2024

Indiana Form

Indiana head out on the road for the second weekend in a row boasting a perfect 5-0 record.

The defending national champion Hoosiers kicked off the campaign with a series of blowout wins against overmatched opposition.

They beat North Texas 52-16 in the curtain raiser, and backed that up with a 55-0 demolition of Howard and a 38-0 shutout of Western Kentucky.

Indiana then kicked off their Big Ten campaign at home to Northwestern, and were made to work for a 29-23 win over the Wildcats.

The Hoosiers then made it 2-0 in conference action, and 5-0 overall, with a 47-15 rout of Rutgers on the road last weekend.

Nebraska Form

Nebraska go into this showdown with the defending national champions also boasting a 100% record after five games.

The Cornhuskers opened with back-to-back home games against MAC opposition, and ran out convincing winners as they beat Ohio 49-21 and Bowling Green 56-7.

They then wrapped up their non-conference schedule with a 34-7 victory at home to North Dakota.

Nebraska began their Big Ten slate on the road, and got off to a successful start as they downed Michigan State 31-13.

The Cornhuskers then backed that up last weekend as they registered a 48-23 home win over Maryland.

Verdict

Indiana take good care of the football and do not commit many penalties, so we are not expecting an upset here.

However, the Hoosiers have rarely covered this season and could have one eye on next week’s huge clash with Ohio State, so give us the Cornhuskers and the points in this one.
