Texas A&M Form
Texas A&M were able to end a two-game losing sequence last weekend, but at 3-2 their chances of a playoff appearance this season are looking increasingly unlikely.
The Aggies kicked off the season ranked in AP’s top 10, and maintained that position with a 50-0 shutout of Missouri State and a 48-20 win over Arizona State.
However, that perfect start was brought to a shocking halt in the middle of September, as they suffered a shock 31-21 home defeat to Kentucky in their SEC opener.
That became back-to-back defeats for Texas A&M a week later, as they were blown out on the road by LSU, losing 35-6.
The Aggies did snap the skid last weekend though, as they returned home for a 34-7 win over Arkansas.

Missouri go into this matchup on the back of a stunning upset of top-10 Florida that improved their record to 4-1.
The Tigers kicked off the campaign with three consecutive victories over non-conference opposition.
They beat Arkansas-Pine Bluff 54-14 in the opener, and followed that up by beating Kansas 38-21 on the road and Troy 27-17 at home.
Missouri’s perfect start ended in their conference opener, as they were beaten 31-24 at Mississippi State, but their response was emphatic.
The Tigers got back to winning ways last weekend as they blew out Florida at home, 45-17.
