Kansas City Chiefs at Seattle Seahawks Predictions & Picks

Kansas City are tipped to cover as a betting underdog on Sunday Night Football.

The Chiefs have been able to lean on ex-Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III this season, and now their passing game is starting to open up, so it could be a case of pick your poison for Seattle.

And on the opposite side, Steve Spagnuolo’s defense can make the stops to – at worst – keep KC within a field goal when time expires.
  • Seattle Seahawks are 2-4-0 ATS this season
  • Seattle Seahawks are 1-2-0 ATS in their first 3 home games
  • Kansas City Chiefs are 5-0 so far this season
  • 3 of Kansas City‘s 4 games that ended in regulation went under 42.5 total points

Head To Head

  • Kansas City Chiefs lead the all-time series 34-19
  • Kansas City Chiefs won 24-10 when the two teams last met in December 2022

Kansas City Chiefs Form

Kansas City head to the Pacific North West looking to maintain their perfect start to the season, which has seen them win five straight games.

The Chiefs opened the season with a huge home against division rivals Denver, and ran out convincing 31-10 winners.

They backed that up a week later with a 33-30 overtime win against Indianapolis, before heading out on the road for back-to-back games before they bye week.

Kansas City first downed the Dolphins in Miami, 24-10, and then edged the Raiders in Las Vegas, 30-27, to enter the bye week at 4-0.

The Chiefs then picked up from where they left off when they returned to action last week to beat the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6.

Seattle Seahawks Form

Seattle enter this primetime matchup in desperate need of a victory, having lost back-to-back games, and three of the last four, to fall to 3-3.

The Seahawks kicked off their defence of the Vince Lombardi Trophy with a 13-10 win over New England in a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl.

They backed that up a week later with a 31-7 victory in Arizona, but have struggled ever since.

Seattle’s perfect start was ended by a 33-31 loss at Washington, and they then failed to follow up a 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Chargers as they dropped the next two.

The Seahawks lost 32-29 at home to division rivals San Francisco, before suffering a 17-14 overtime defeat in Denver last time out.

Verdict

Will this turn out to be the Kenneth Walker III ‘Revenge Game’ as he returns to Seattle for the first time since leaving?

Walker could run all over the Seahawks here, and if they focus in on stopping him that will open up opportunities for Mahomes in the passing game, so take KC and the points.
