Georgia at Alabama Predictions & Picks

Georgia are tipped to end their Alabama regular season hoodoo with an upset win.

It has been almost two decades since the Bulldogs won a regular season meeting, but they did win last year’s SEC Championship showdown and they do arrive in fantastic form.

They have the offense to do damage here, and a defense that can at least slow down Keelon Russell & Co.
  • Georgia are 5-0 this season
  • Georgia beat Alabama by 21 points when the teams met last December
  • Georgia are 11-2 in their last 13 conference matchups
  • The Under has cashed in 4 of the last 5 meetings

Head To Head

  • Alabama lead the all-time series 45-27-4
  • Georgia won 28-7 when the two teams last met in December 2025

Georgia Form

Georgia head out on the road for this massive SEC matchup having opened the season with five straight wins.

The Bulldogs kicked off the campaign with back-to-back non-conference games, and they ran riot as they beat Tennessee State 63-3 and Western Kentucky 70-20.

They then began their SEC conference schedule with three more one-sided wins, starting with a 45-17 victory in Arkansas.

Georgia returned home a week later to make straightforward work of Oklahoma, beating the Sooners 41-13.

The Bulldogs then made it five wins in a row last Saturday, as they downed Vanderbilt 38-14.

Alabama Form

Alabama also enter this huge game boasting a 100% record thanks to five consecutive victories.

The Crimson Tide kicked off the season with a 48-10 victory over East Carolina, before quickly turning their attention to the SEC.

They kicked off their conference schedule with a 45-17 win in Kentucky, before returning to non-conference action with a 50-36 success against Florida State.

Alabama have since returned to SEC duty, and they have kept their perfect record intact with two more wins.

The Cimson Tide downed South Carolina at home, 49-18, before heading to Mississippi State for a 56-23 victory.

Verdict

Two good teams in red hot form – this has all the makings of being a classic clash.

Alabama have dominated Georgia in the regular season for the past couple of decades, but this Bulldogs team is performing at a high level on both sides of the football right now.

This could be the year that the Dawgs finally end their Crimson Tide regular season hoodoo.
