LSU at Ole Miss Predictions & Picks

LSU are tipped to cover as Lane Kiffin enjoys a winning return to Ole Miss.

The Tigers still have some things to clean up after two weeks, but the offense has produced plenty of points through two games, while this defense has shut down back-to-back opponents.

  • LSU are a perfect 2-0 heading into Week 3
  • Ole Miss are 0-2-0 ATS so far this season
  • The winning team has covered in 9 of the previous 10 meetings
  • The Over has cashed in 3 of the first 4 games involving either team

Head To Head

  • LSU lead the all-time series 65-39-3
  • Ole Miss won 24-19 when the two teams last met in September 2025

LSU Form

Lane Kiffin heads back to his old team this weekend having led LSU to a perfect 2-0 start.

Kiffin left Ole Miss for the Tigers in tumultuous fashion late last year, and he has enjoyed a flying start to his reign.

They kicked things off with a 51-10 blowout of Clemson – considered one of the most impressive performances by any team so far this season.

Sam Leavitt and Dilin Jones ran all over Clemson in the Death Valley rivalry game, combining for 226 yards and four touchdowns.

LSU then backed that up last weekend as the Tigers overcame a slow first half to beat Louisiana Tech 45-14.

Ole Miss Form

Ole Miss go into this clash with their former head coach also boasting a 100% record thanks to back-to-back wins.

The Rebels kicked off the campaign with a victory over Louisville, but it was hardly plain-sailing as they needed a walk-off field goal from Lucas Carneiro to see off the Cardinals, 41-38.

While the victory was far from convincing, quarterback Trinidad Chambliss showcased his talents with 336 yards and three touchdowns through the air, while also adding 60 yards and a score on the ground.

His favourite target on the day was Deuce Alexander, as the pair hooked up for 159 yards and two TDs.

Ole Miss followed up that victory with a convincing win last weekend, as they downed Charlotte, 41-9.

Verdict

Our Verdict
LSU have the offense to hang plenty of points on Ole Miss and the defense to at least slow down Trinidad Chambliss & Co.

We expect Lane Kiffin to enjoy his first return to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium since ditching the Rebels for the Tigers.
