The Hurricanes opened the season with four straight blowout wins over non-conference opposition, including a 41-17 success at Florida.
Their win streak continued in the early stages of their ACC schedule too, but they needed to stage some dramatic fights backs as they beat Virginia Tech 39-34 and California 39-38.
Miami’ then downed Louisville 52-45 on the road, before returning home to take down Florida State 36-14 and Duke 53-31.
The Hurricanes’ perfect run finally ended with a 28-23 loss at Georgia Tech, but they rebounded last time out as they beat Wake Forest 42-14.

Syracuse go into their final game of the season looking to beat a ranked team for the third time in four attempts.
The Orange opened the season by winning five of their first six games, including a 31-28 victory over Georgia tech and a 44-41 win against UNLV.
However, that loss came in conference play as they were beaten 26-24 by Stanford, and they lost two more meetings with ACC teams to end their championship hopes.
Syracuse were beaten 41-13 at Pitt and then failed to back up a 38-31 win over Virginia Tech as they lost 37-31 to Boston College.
The Orange have won their last two though, downing California 33-25 on the road before returning home to beat Connecticut 31-24.
