Notre Dame head to Los Angeles riding a nine-game win streak that has put them firmly on course for the College Football Playoffs.
The Fighting Irish were the victims of a massive upset in early September as they crashed to a 16-14 defeat when they hosted Northern Illinois for their home opener.
The responded to that loss in emphatic fashion though, blowing out Purdue 66-7 before beating Miami OH 28-3 and Louisville 31-24.
Notre Dame then took down Stanford 49-7, before heading out for two neutral venue games that saw them beat Georgia Tech 31-13 and crush Navy 51-14.
From there the Fighting Irish took down Florida State, 52-3, and Virginia, 35-14, before heading back to New York to blow out Army, 49-14.
USC Form
USC go into the final game of their Big Ten debut season looking to follow up on their last couple of wins.
The Trojans won their first couple of non-conference games, but made a losing start to life in their new conference as they were beaten 27-24 at Michigan.
They then failed to back up the 38-21 win over Wisconsin as they lost three straight, faling 24-17 to Minnesota, 33-30 to Penn State and 29-28 to Maryland.
USC halted that losing skid with a 42-20 victory over Rutgers, only to then lose 26-21 when they visited Washington.
The Trojans have not lost since though, backing up a 29-20 win over Nebraska with a 19-13 victory at UCLA.
