Notre Dame go into their home opener in South Bend with a 1-0 record thanks to last week’s win at Lambeau Field.
The Fighting Irish, who missed out on the College Football Playoffs last season, made a slow start against Wisconsin and led by just three points at half-time.
However, they pulled away in the second half, out-scoring the Badgers by 25 points to clinch a 41-13 victory.
Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr threw for 239 yards and a couple of touchdowns, with Jordan Faison leading the way with 81 yards receiving.
The Fighting Irish leant on running back Aneyas Williams, as he carried the football 20 times for 90 yards and a couple of rushing touchdowns.
