Hamilton Tiger-Cats Form

Hamilton head back out on the road looking to build on last weekend’s upset of defending champion Saskatchewan, which took them to 4-6.

The Tiger-Cats opened the season with a 30-27 overtime defeat to Montreal, but rebounded quickly to beat Winnipeg 37-27 on the road and BC Lions 41-27 at home.

They failed to back that up after the bye week as they fell 14-13 to Winnipeg, and that was followed by a 38-7 blowout loss to Saskatchewan.

Hamilton ended that losing sequence with a 24-23 win over Toronto, only to immediately return to losing ways as they fell 31-18 in Montreal.

The Tiger-Cats then lost 44-20 to Calgary and 27-24 at the BC Lions, before finally snapping that three-game skid with a 26-19 upset of the Roughriders last Saturday.

Toronto Argonauts Form

Toronto enter this matchup looking to get back to winning ways, having slipped to 4-5 last time out.

The Argonauts kicked off the campaign with a 37-30 loss to Montreal, but just like their opponents today, they rallied with back-to-back wins, beating Ottawa 44-24 and Saskatchewan 40-34.

That winning sequence was ended by a 58-36 loss to Calgary, and that was followed by a 30-21 defeat to Winnipeg and a 24-23 loss to Hamilton.

Toronto ended the losing skid with a 26-12 victory at the BC Lions, and when they returned from the bye week they beat Calgary 33-30 at home.

However, the Argonauts again failed to string together three straight wins, this time losing 42-12 at Edmonton last weekend.
