Montreal enter this matchup on a fantastic run of form, having won each of their last seven games to take their record to a league-best 9-1.
The Alouettes opened the season with back-to-back wins, beating Hamilton 30-27 in overtime on the road and Toronto 37-30 in regulation at home.
They failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 32-29 in overtime in Edmonton, but they issued an immediate response with a 37-35 victory over Ottawa, and have not lost since.
Montreal returned from the bye week with back-to-back wins over Calgary, beating the Stampeders 37-30 at home and 38-32 on the road, and followed that up by downing Hamilton 31-18, Ottawa 34-13, and Edmonton 48-30, before their second bye week.
The Alouettes then made it seven-in-a-row last weekend, as they resumed the regular season with a 46-16 demolition of Ottawa at home.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers Form
Winnipeg return home having just lost for the third time in four games to see their record fall to 5-5.
The Blue Bombers enjoyed a winning start as they won 30-28 in Calgary, but they failed to back that up either side of their first bye week as they lost 37-2 to Hamilton and 23-18 to Edmonton at home.
They avenged that loss to the Tiger-Cats with a 14-13 win on the road, and backed that up by beating Toronto 30-21 at home and Ottawa 36-34 on the road in overtime.
Winnipeg failed to keep that winning run going though, as they suffered two more home defats, losing 52-30 to Calgary and 35-19 to the BC Lions.
The Blue Bombers avoided a third consecutive defeat, beating Ottawa 33-21, but their joy was short-lived as they fell 22-19 in Edmonton last time out.
