Florida State enter the new season looking to rebound from a miserable 2025 campaign that saw them win just five of their games and only two in the ACC.
The Seminoles made a sensational start as they upset Alabama on opening weekend, 31-17, and they backed that up with a couple of blowouts of minor schools.
However, they made a terrible start to their conference campaign as they lost four straight games, falling 46-38 at Virginia, 28-22 to Miami, 34-31 to Pitt and 20-13 at Stanford.
Florida State stopped the rot with a 42-7 demolition of Wake Forest, only to quickly return to losing ways as they fell 24-10 at Clemson.
The Seminoles responded by beating Virginia Tech 34-14, but they immediately returned to losing ways and ended the season losing 21-11 at NC State and 40-21 at Florida.
