  • Toronto Argonauts are 3-1 in their previous 4 games
  • The betting underdog is 7-2-0 ATS in the previous 9 meetings
  • The Over has cashed in 4 of the last 5 meetings in Saskatchewan

Head To Head

  • Saskatchewan Roughriders lead the all-time series 52-48-1
  • Toronto Argonauts won 40-34 when the two teams last met on June 26

Toronto Argonauts Form

Toronto go into this clash with the defending champions on their best run of the season so far, having won three of their last four games to improve to 5-5.

Kept out of their BMO Field home for the first several weeks of the season due to the World Cup, the Argonauts made a rough start to the season as they lost four of their first six games.

That sequence included a three-game skid in July that saw them lose 58-36 to Calgary, 30-21 to Winnipeg and 24-23 to Hamilton.

Toronto ended the month on a positive note though, winning 26-12 at the BC Lions, and they backed that up after the bye week as they downed Calgary at home, 33-30.

The Argonauts failed to make it three-in-a-row as they feel 42-12 in Edmonton, but they issued an immediate response last weekend in the form of a 39-20 victory against Hamilton.

Saskatchewan Roughriders Form

Saskatchewan return home looking to kick-start their playoff push, having lost back-to-back road games to fall to 6-4.

The Roughriders began their defence of the Grey Cup with consecutive wins, beating the BC Lions 31-27 at home and Calgary 40-37 in overtime on the road.

They then answered a 40-34 loss at home to Toronto by winning 27-22 in Ottawa before downing Hamilton at home, 38-7.

Toronto again failed to string together three straight wins, losing 36-34 to Edmonton, but they again responded to a loss with back-to-back successes, beating the Elks 28-26 and Ottawa 42-20.

The Argonauts have not won since though, following up a 26-19 loss in Hamilton with a 30-16 defeat at the BC Lions.
