Hawaii at Stanford Predictions & Picks

Hawaii are tipped to cover as a betting underdog in this Week 0 clash.

The Rainbow Warriors are returning Micah Alejado as part of a settled team, while Stanford may have some early teething issues with a new head coach/quarterback combination.

  • Hawaii were 9-4-0 ATS in their 13 games last season
  • Stanford failed to cover in their only game as a betting favorite last season
  • The Under cashed in last season’s meeting

Head To Head

  • Stanford lead the all-time series 4-1
  • Hawaii won 23-20 when the two teams last met in August 2025

Hawaii Form

Hawaii enter the new season looking to build on a strong 2025 campaign that saw them reel off nine victories and win a Bowl Game.

The Rainbow Warriors enjoyed a winning start to that campaign as they beat Saturday’s opponents, Stanford, 23-20 at home.

They went on to win three of their first four games in non-conference action, only to then begin their Mountain West schedule with a 23-21 defeat to Fresno State.

Hawaii rebounded to win the next three games, but they split their final four conference outings and that cost them a place in the Mountain West Conference Championship.

The Rainbow Warriors did sign off in positive fashion though, as they downed California in the Hawaii Bowl, 35-31.

Stanford Form

Stanford come into the new campaign looking to bounce back from a 2025 campaign that saw them win just four games.

The Cardinal opened with back-to-back defeats in non-conference action, and then kicked off their ACC slate with two defeats in their first three games.

They did knock off Florida State in mid-October, winning 20-13, but they were quickly brought back down to Earth by a 42-7 defeat at Miami.

Stanford then went on to lose 35-20 to Pitt and 20-15 at North Carolina, before concluding their conference schedule with a 31-10 win over California.

The Cardinal failed to make it back-to-back wins though, as they closed out the regular season with a 49-20 defeat to Notre Dame.
