BC Lions Form

BC head to Montreal as arguably the hottest team in the CFL at this time, having won five straight games to improve to 6-5.

The Lions made a rough start to the campaign as they lost five of their first six games, but they have turned things around since late July to catapult themselves into the playoff race.

They kick-started this good run on the road as they travelled to Winnipeg to down the Blue Bombers, 35-19.

BC then returned home to beat Hamilton 267-24, before heading back out on the road to see off Calgary, 30-26.

The Lions made it four-in-a-row by knocking off defending champions Saskatchewan at home, 30-16, and then made it five straight with a 45-24 success in Ottawa.

Montreal Alouettes Form

Montreal come into this matchup on the back of their second defeat of the season, but boasting a league-best record of 9-2.

The Alouettes opened with back-to-back wins, before falling to a 32-29 overtime defeat when they visited Edmonton.

They responded to that loss in emphatic fashion though, as they rattled off seven consecutive victories, starting with a 37-35 win over Ottawa.

Montreal then won consecutive meetings with Calgary, 37-30 at home and 38-32 on the road, before beating Hamilton 31-18, Ottawa 34-13, Edmonton 48-30 and Ottawa 46-16.

The Alouettes failed to make it eight-in-a-row though, as they were beaten 44-28 in Winnipeg last time out.
