Winnipeg head to the defending champions seeking back-to-back victories for the first time since mid-July.
The Blue Bombers made a slow start to the season as they lost two of their first three games, but they found some form in July as they embarked on a three-game win streak.
They were able to sandwich a 30-21 win at home to Toronto with road successes against Hamilton, 14-13, and Ottawa, 36-34 in overtime.
Winnipeg failed to keep that run going as they lost 52-30 to Calgary and 35-19 to BC Lions at home, but they were able to avoid a third straight loss as they downed Ottawa 33-21.
The Blue Bombers were unable to back that up as they lost 22-19 in Edmonton – although they did rebound to beat Montreal 44-28 last time out.
