Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Saskatchewan Roughriders Predictions & Picks

Saskatchewan are tipped to cover as they make it back-to-back wins.

The Roughriders have had some disappointments this year, but their home record over the past couple of seasons is solid, while Winnipeg rarely cover in losses.

  • Saskatchewan Roughriders were 2-1 in meetings last season
  • Winnipeg Blue Bombers are 1-4-0 ATS in their 5 defeats
  • The Under has hit in 6 of Saskatchewan’s previous 8 games
  • The Under cashed in 2 of the 3 meetings last season

Head To Head

  • Winnipeg Blue Bombers lead all-time series 85-64
  • Winnipeg Blue Bombers won 17-16 when the two teams last met in October 2025

Winnipeg Blue Bombers Form

Winnipeg head to the defending champions seeking back-to-back victories for the first time since mid-July.

The Blue Bombers made a slow start to the season as they lost two of their first three games, but they found some form in July as they embarked on a three-game win streak.

They were able to sandwich a 30-21 win at home to Toronto with road successes against Hamilton, 14-13, and Ottawa, 36-34 in overtime.

Winnipeg failed to keep that run going as they lost 52-30 to Calgary and 35-19 to BC Lions at home, but they were able to avoid a third straight loss as they downed Ottawa 33-21.

The Blue Bombers were unable to back that up as they lost 22-19 in Edmonton – although they did rebound to beat Montreal 44-28 last time out.

Saskatchewan Roughriders Form

Saskatchewan enter this matchup looking to win back-to-back games for the first time for almost a month.

The Roughriders made a strong start to their defence of the Grey Cup as they won four of their first five games.

They then responded to a 36-34 defeat to Edmonton with a 28-26 road win over the Elks, before downing Ottawa at home, 42-20.

Saskatchewan failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 26-19 in Hamilton, and that was followed by a 30-16 loss when they visited BC Lions.

The Roughriders did rebound at home though, as they beat Toronto 28-24 last weekend.

Verdict

Our Verdict
Neither team has momentum heading into this matchup, but Saskatchewan do have home advantage.

They have had the edge in recent meetings too, so we are leaning towards the Roughriders in this one.
