The Seminoles made a statement on opening day as they ran out 45-24 winners against #5 LSU to force their way into the top four.
They followed that up with a 66-13 demolition of Southern Mississippi, before winning 31-29 at Boston College and 31-24 at Clemson.
Florida State then returned home to beat Virginia Tech 39-17 and Syracuse 41-3, before downing #16 Duke 38-20.
The Seminoles then made it eight-in-a-row last weekend as they made light work of Wake Forest on the road, winning 41-16.
Pittsburgh Form
Pittsburgh enter this matchup on the back of a couple of losses that have left them with a 2-6 record.
The Panthers made a winning start to the season as they blew out Wofford, 45-7, on opening day, but when the opposition got tougher their form collapsed.
They were beaten 27-21 by Cincinnati and 17-6 at West Virginia, before losing 41-24 to #17 North Carolina in their first ACC game of 2023.
Pittsburgh then lost 38-21 at Virginia Tech, only to stop the rot with a sensational 38-21 upset of #14 Louisville at home.
The Panthers were soon brought back down to Earth however, losing 21-17 at Wake Forest and 58-7 at #14 Notre Dame.
