They played host to Cal last weekend, and suffered a 21-18 defeat at the hands of the Golden Bears.
Quarterback Steve Angeli completed less than 50% of his 50 passing attempts, and racked up three interceptions in the loss.
An ill-disciplined performance all round saw Syracuse commit 14 penalties for a total of 110 yards.

Pitt go in their first conference matchup of the season having opened with back-to-back non-conference successes.
The Panthers recorded a blowout victory as they downed Miami Ohio 59-14 in their opening game.
They then backed that up last weekend as they scraped past UCF, beating their opposition from the Big 12, 12-7.
Quarterback Mason Heintschel went 18/29 for 212 yards, with Cataurus Hicks on the receiving end of 64 of those yards.
Damon Ferguson led the way on the ground, carrying the ball 20 times for 59 yards and a touchdown, while adding 27 yards receiving.
