San Francisco will have their sights set on a Super Bowl run after injuries derailed them last season.
The 49ers faltered early as they lost four of their first seven games and had starting QB Trey Lance go down with a season-ending injury.
A 31-14 win at the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8 sparked a dramatic turnaround though, and they embarked on a 10-game win streak to close out the regular season and secure a playoff place.
It was not an easy ride for them though, as they then lost Jimmy Garropolo and were forced to lean on a seventh round rookie QB in Brock Purdy.
Purdy did not let them down though, and led them to playoff wins against Seattle (41-23) and Dallas (19-12).
He suffered a season-ending injury in the NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia though, and San Francisco could not overcome another QB loss as they were beaten 31-7.
