Claressa Shields (17-0, 3 KOs) defends her undisputed world heavyweight crown against Franchon Crews-Dezurn (10-2, 2 KOs) at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan on Sunday, February 22.

This is a rematch from a November 2016 encounter that saw both women make their debuts in the professional ranks. Shields won that four-rounder on points, and since then she has established herself as one of the best combat athletes on the planet.
She went on to win light-middleweight, middleweight, super-middleweight and light-heavyweight world titles, before making the move up to heavyweight last year to dethrone Danielle Perkins in a 12-round fight that went the distance.
Shields made a successful defence of her undisputed crown last July, beating Lani Daniels by unanimous decision, and she will now aim to make it back-to-back successful defences in front of a hometown crowd.
Looking to deny her and silence the Detroit crowd is Crews-Dezurn, who rebounded from that debut defeat by going on to enjoy two runs as a super-middleweight world champion.
She successfully retained her WBA and WBC championships last June as she beat Citlalli Ortiz on points, and now she will step up to heavyweight in an attempt to become a two-weight world champion.
But can Crews-Dezurn complete her quest and avenge the first defeat of her professional career, or will Shields delight her hometown fans, retain her heavyweight crown and maintain a 100% record?
