BC enter their final regular season game in pole position to claim the number two seed in the playoffs thanks to a five-game win streak that has took them to 10-7.
The Lions endured a rollercoaster run before their first bye week of the season as they lost five of their first eight games.
They then won back-to-back games after the bye, only to cool off quickly again with consecutive defeats.
BC rebounded with a 38-27 win over Ottawa though, and that proved to be the start of a five-game tear as they beat Calgary 52-23, Toronto 27-22 and Calgary 38-24 before the bye.
The Lions then returned to action last week with a 37-24 victory at home to Edmonton.
Saskatchewan Roughriders Form
Saskatchewan go into their final game of the regular season having already secured top spot in the West and a playoff bye thanks to their 12-5 record.
The Roughriders were the CFL’s hottest team during the first few months of the season as they won 10 of their first 12 games.
Their form dipped in September as they lost 48-31 to Montreal and 27-25 at Edmonton, but they responded with back-to-back victories to start October.
Saskatchewan downed Ottawa on the road, 20-13, before returning home for a 28-19 victory over Toronto.
The Roughriders failed to make it three-in-a-row though, as they were beaten 17-16 in Winnipeg last time out.
Verdict
Saskatchewan have little play for here, but that is not the case for the BC Lions.
The number two seeding is still up for grabs, and that need for a victory is likely to be the difference between these two teams.
