Montreal go into their final game of the regular season on a five-game win streak that secured a playoff place and took the East Division title race down to the wire.
The Alouettes opened the season with a three-game win streak, and then rebounded from a couple of defeats by winning back-to-back games to end July at 5-2.
Their form collapsed after that as they lost five consecutive games, but they were able to turn things around in September.
Montreal snapped their skid with a 48-31 win in Saskatchewan, and backed that up with home wins over Toronto, 21-19, and Calgary, 38-20, before the bye.
The Alouettes then returned from the bye with back-to-back wins over Ottawa, winning 30-10 at home and 39-28 on the road.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers Form
Winnipeg enter this matchup having snatched a place in the postseason thanks to a 9-8 record.
The Blue Bombers have been a playoff fixture in recent years, and it was no shock when they raced out of the blocks with three straight wins.
They suddenly cooled off though, losing four of the next five, before rallying with back-to-back victories in the middle of August.
Winnipeg failed to maintain that momentum as they then lost three straight, but they were able to book their place in the postseason by winning three of their last four.
The Blue Bombers beat Ottawa 26-18 and Hamilton 40-3, before bouncing back from a 25-20 loss in Edmonton with a 17-17 victory over Saskatchewan.

Montreal’s recent record against Winnipeg is not great, but they have been the more consistent team in recent weeks.
