Atlanta return home having completed a perfect four-game road trip to improve their record to 9-5.
The Hawks made a rough start to the season as they lost three of their first four games, but sparked a turn around with road wins in Brooklyn, 117-112, and Indiana, 128-108.
They then rebounded from a 117-108 loss in Cleveland with a 127-112 victory at home to Orlando, and then responded to a 109-97 loss to Toronto with a five-game win streak.
Atlanta began this run at their State Farm Arena home as they downed the Los Angeles Lakers 122-102.
The Hawks then went out on the road to beat the LA Clippers 105-102, Sacramento 133-100, Utah 132-122 and Phoenix 124-122.
Verdict
Detroit are the hottest team in the NBA right now, but they are facing a quick turnaround on the road and could be without several key players.
