The Timberwolves endured a rough run in late November as they went out on the road and lost three straight.
They fell 114-113 in Phoenix, 117-112 at Sacramento and 113-105 in Oklahoma City, before returning home to finally stop the rot with a 119-115 victory over Boston.
Minnesota backed that up with a 125-112 success against San Antonio, before taking their winning run to four games with back-to-back wins in New Orleans, beating the Pelicans 125-116 and 109-106.
The Timberwolves then downed the LA Clippers 109-106, only to see their streak end last time out as they fell 108-105 to Phoenix.
Golden State Warriors Form
Golden State return home on the back of a couple of wins, but in underwhelming form with six defeats in their last 10 games.
The Warriors’ disappointing form began on the road as they were beaten 121-113 in Orlando and 110-96 at Miami, and they then fell to a 127-123 home defeat to Portland.
They avoided a fourth straight loss by beating Utah 134-117, and then responded to a 104-100 loss to Houston with a 104-96 victory over New Orleans.
Golden State again failed to follow up a win as they last 124-112 to Oklahoma City, and it became back-to-back defeats when they fell 99-98 in Philadelphia.
The Warriors rallied on the road though, backing up a 99-94 win in Cleveland with a 123-91 victory at Chicago.

Minnesota’s chances in this matchup hinge on the availability of Anthony Edwards.
