The Spurs just knocked off a red-hot Oklahoma City team in the semi-finals, and they have been a reliable underdog bet this season.
On top of that they got Victor Wembanyama back in the semi-finals too – a big boost!

San Antonio go into the NBA Cup Final on an excellent run of form, having won 10 of their last 13 games.
The Spurs began this good sequence at home as they reeled off three consecutive victories, beating Sacramento 123-110, Memphis 111-101 and Atlanta 135-126.
They then bounced back from a 111-102 defeat in Phoenix with road wins at Portland, 115-102, and Denver 139-136, only to end that road trip with a 125-112 defeat at Minnesota.
San Antonio put that behind them with a 126-119 win over Memphis, and then headed to Orlando for a 114-112 victory against the Magic.
The Spurs failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 130-117 in Cleveland, but they did responded immediately by beating New Orleans 135-132 on the road.
They then turned their attention to the NBA Cup, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 132-119 in the quarter-finals and Oklahoma City 111-109 in the semi-finals.
New York Knicks Form
New York enter this NBA Cup Final in fantastic form, having won nine of their last 10 games.
The Knicks began this run in response to a 133-121 defeat in Orlando, bouncing back on the road to beat Brooklyn 113-100 and Charlotte 1291-101.
They then returned home to down Milwaukee 118-109 and Toronto 116-94, only to see their run end at four games as they were beaten 123-117 in Boston.
New York have not lost since though, sparking a five-game win streak as reeled off three consecutive wins at home.
The Knicks beat Charlotte 119-104, Utah 146-112 and Orlando 106-100, before going back out on the road to resume their NBA Cup campaign.
They downed the Raptors in Toronto in the quarter-finals, 117-101, and then moved on to Las Vegas where they beat Orlando 132-120 in the semi-finals.
Verdict
Both teams are in excellent form so you could make a case for either team, but we find ourselves leaning towards San Antonio and the free points.
The Spurs have been a solid spread bet in the underdog role this season, and we cannot ignore the fact they just knocked off the defending champions, who had been on an unstoppable run before that semi-final showdown.
