The Spurs began this sequence with a three-game run at home that saw them beat Sacramento 123-110, Memphis 111-101 and Atlanta 135-126.
Their run was ended by a 111-102 defeat in Phoenix, but they bounced back immediately to beat Portland 115-102 and Denver 138-136, only to then lose 125-112 in Minnesota.
San Antonio again responded quickly to a defeat, beating Memphis 127-119 at home and Orlando 114-112 on the road.
The Spurs then answered a 130-117 defeat in Cleveland with road wins over New Orleans, 135-132, and the Los Angeles Lakers, 132-119.
Oklahoma City Thunder Form
Oklahoma City go into this NBA Cup semi-final as the hottest team in the league, having now won 16 consecutive games.
The Thunder have not tasted defeat since they were beaten 121-119 in Portland back on November.
They responded to that loss by beating Sacramento 132-101 and Memphis 114-100 on the road, before returning home to down Golden State 126-102 and the Los Angeles Lakers 121-92.
Oklahoma City’s red-hot run then continued as they won 109-106 in Charlotte, 128-108 at New Orleans, 113-99 at home to Sacramento and 144-112 in Utah.
The Thunder then returned home to down Portland 122-95, Minnesota 113-105 and Phoenix 123-119, before heading out on the road to beat Portland 123-115 and Golden State 124-112.
They then made it 16-in-a-row by sandwiching a 131-101 win in Utah with home successes against Dallas, 132-111, and Phoenix, 138-89.
Verdict
This is a lot of points, but it is hard to ignore the dominant run that Oklahoma City have been on.
The Thunder have not lost in over a month and they are covering as big favorites too, so we are riding with OKC in this semi-final clash.
