Carolina are tipped to clinch the NFC South with a big road win on the final weekend of the regular season.
The Panthers have been on a rollercoaster, but they did beat Tampa Bay a couple of weeks ago and the Buccaneers have been pretty much in freefall since early November.

Carolina have been on an inconsistent run for several weeks now, but four wins in their last nine games have been enough to put them atop the NFC South heading into Week 18.
The Panthers made a slow start to the season as they lost three of their first four games, before turning things around in late October as they reeled off three consecutive wins.
That run was ended by a 40-9 blowout loss to Buffalo, and since then then have failed to string together wins, rebounding with a 16-13 win in Green Bay only to lose 17-7 to New Orleans.
Carolina responded with a 30-27 overtime victory in Atlanta, before bouncing back from a 20-9 loss at San Francisco with a 31-28 upset of the Los Angeles Rams at home.
The Panthers then sandwiched a 23-20 win over Tampa Bay with defeats to New Orleans, 20-17, and Seattle, 27-10, to pass up on the chance to clinch with games to spar.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Form
Tampa Bay enter their regular season finale having lost seven of their last eight games, but still in with a shout of winning the NFC South.
The Buccaneers made a hot start as they won six of their first eight games, only for a 28-23 loss to New England to spark a downturn in fortunes.
They then lost 44-32 in Buffalo and 34-7 at the Los Angeles Rams, before briefly rallying with a 20-17 victory when they hosted Arizona.
Tampa Bay failed to back up that victory as they dropped back-to-back games at home, falling 24-20 to New Orleans and 29-28 to Atlanta.
The Buccaneers’ losing sequence then reached four games as they went out on the road to lose 23-20 in Carolina and 20-17 at Miami.
Verdict
Tampa Bay have home advantage, but this team has completely collapsed in recent weeks and Baker Mayfield has thrown almost as many picks as he has touchdowns.
Carolina, on the other hand, have at least been winning games, including a pre-Christmas meeting with the Buccaneers, so give us the Panthers and the plus-money.
