Philadelphia enter this Monday night matchup having lost back-to-back games to slip to 8-4.
The Eagles raced out of the blocks this season as they won their first four games, including a 20-17 victory at Kansas City in a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl.
They cooled off in the first half of October as they lost back-to-back games, but they responded to that with their second four-game run of the season.
Philadelphia beat Minnesota 28-22 on the road, New York Giants 38-20 at home, Green Bay 10-7 on the road and Detroit 16-9 at home.
The Eagles’ surge was halted by a 24-21 loss at Dallas, and that was followed by a 24-15 home defeat at the hands of Chicago last time out.
Los Angeles Chargers Form
Los Angeles enter this game on a solid run of form, having won four of their previous five games to improve to 8-4.
The Chargers also made a fast start to the season as they reeled off three straight division wins, beating Kansas City 27-21, Las Vegas 20-9 and Denver 23-20.
That run was ended by a couple of defeats to NFC East teams, and they then failed to back up a 29-27 win at Miami as they lost 38-24 at home to Indianapolis.
Los Angeles responded quickly though, backing up a 37-10 win against Minnesota with victories against Tennessee, 27-20, and Pittsburgh, 25-10.
The Chargers then bounced back from a 35-6 blowout loss in Jacksonville with a 31-14 win at home to Las Vegas last time out.
Verdict
Los Angeles are in better form, but their biggest weakness is something Philadelphia can exploit.
