Philadelphia saw their losing skid reach for games with a home defeat to Washington 24 hours ago.
The Flyers enjoyed a winning start to the season as they visited Vancouver and beat the Canucks via a shootout, 3-2.
Their form has nose-dived since then though, with a 6-3 defeat proving to be the start of a four-game skid.
Philadelphia moved on to lose 4-3 in overtime in Edmonton, before heading to Seattle for a 6-4 defeat at the hands of the Kraken.
The Flyers then failed to end their losing ways when they returned home suffering a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Vancouver before falling 4-1 to Washington.

Washington return home looking to repeat last night's win in Philadelphia that took their streak to four games.
The Capitals opened the 2024/25 season at home to New Jersey and suffered a 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Devils.
They have responded well though, with a 4-2 home win over Vegas proving to be the start of a three-game winning run.
Washington backed up that win over the Golden Knights with a 3-2 victory over Dallas, before heading out on the road for the first time.
The Capitals then won their first two road games, avenging that season-opening loss to New Jersey with a 6-5 overtime win, before downing Philadelphia 4-1 last night.
Verdict
These two teams are heading in oppositte directions, and unlike last night Washington have home advantage.
We expect the Capitals to make that count as they beat Philadelphia for the second night running.
