FOX Bet Review

FOX Bet was formed in mid-2019 when the Stars Group rebranded the BetStars New Jersey site in partnership with FOX Sports. This made FOX Sports the first major US sports broadcaster to launch a co-branded sports betting platform.

FOX Sports is part of the FOX media group. The Stars Group is a well-known Canadian organisation which owns some of the biggest websites in the betting business, including PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.

FOX Bet offers a great range of the most popular markets and betting types, including:

This allows you to bet on which team you think will win the game. These are rarely the best value wagers, but betting on the underdog can yield a healthy profit if they manage to secure a win.

Usually listed in the ‘totals’ markets. This involves betting on whether your team will score above or below a certain number of total points.

A very popular alternative to moneyline betting. The favourite is assigned a certain number of negative points and the underdog is assigned the same number of positive points. This evens out the odds, and you then bet on whether your team would win if they had that points total applied to their final score.

A parlay is when you combine wagers to achieve a bigger payout. In a three-fold parlay, for example, the winnings from the first selection will be used to fund the second, and the winnings from the second selection will be used to fund the third. This can lead to massive returns, but all your selections must be correct to see a profit. This is known as an accumulator or acca in the UK and other parts of the world.

The futures market will show you wagers where the outcomes won’t be decided for quite some time. These are often outrights such as who will win the Stanley Cup, or which player will be the regular season MVP. 

FOX Bet has live in-play betting options for all the big games in every sport. You’ll find a decent range of wagers for each match, but the market number will increase depending on how popular the teams are and how much publicity is surrounding the game.
