FOX Bet Review

FOX Bet was formed in mid-2019 when the Stars Group rebranded the BetStars New Jersey site in partnership with FOX Sports. This made FOX Sports the first major US sports broadcaster to launch a co-branded sports betting platform.

FOX Bet

FOX Sports is part of the FOX media group. The Stars Group is a well-known Canadian organisation which owns some of the biggest websites in the betting business, including PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.

FOX Bet Verdict

Why You Should Bet at FOX Bet

FOX Bet is the brainchild of two superpowers from their respective industries: FOX Sports and the Stars Group. This alone is an intriguing prospect with the amount of experience those companies have, but there is plenty more to draw you in. The $120 welcome package, a clean and simple website and mobile app, and all the most popular sports betting options make this a very tempting sportsbook. Let’s learn a bit more about FOX Bet itself.

FOX Bet Betting Promotions & Bonus Code

The two-part FOX Bet welcome package is a great offer which allows you to try out the website before you’ve even made your first deposit. When you register with FOX Bet and verify your account, you’ll get $20 in bonus betting credit to use however you see fit. These no-deposit offers don’t come along very often so this one is definitely worth taking advantage of.

After you’ve claimed the FOX Bet no-deposit offer, you’ll also receive 100% of your first deposit in betting credit. This is capped at $100, so a deposit of $115 will still get you an extra $100 in bonus cash.

There are only a few terms and conditions to be aware of, with the main ones being the wagering requirements. Before you can withdraw any winnings, you must turn over your total bonus amount once (1x) on bets with odds of -200 (1.5 in decimal) or above. Please see our FOX Bet bonus code page for more information.

FOX Bet Sport Bet Types

FOX Bet offers a great range of the most popular markets and betting types, including:

Moneyline bets
This allows you to bet on which team you think will win the game. These are rarely the best value wagers, but betting on the underdog can yield a healthy profit if they manage to secure a win.

Over/under
Usually listed in the ‘totals’ markets. This involves betting on whether your team will score above or below a certain number of total points.

Spread Betting
A very popular alternative to moneyline betting. The favourite is assigned a certain number of negative points and the underdog is assigned the same number of positive points. This evens out the odds, and you then bet on whether your team would win if they had that points total applied to their final score.

Parlays
A parlay is when you combine wagers to achieve a bigger payout. In a three-fold parlay, for example, the winnings from the first selection will be used to fund the second, and the winnings from the second selection will be used to fund the third. This can lead to massive returns, but all your selections must be correct to see a profit. This is known as an accumulator or acca in the UK and other parts of the world.

Futures
The futures market will show you wagers where the outcomes won’t be decided for quite some time. These are often outrights such as who will win the Stanley Cup, or which player will be the regular season MVP.

FOX Bet Live Betting

FOX Bet has live in-play betting options for all the big games in every sport. You’ll find a decent range of wagers for each match, but the market number will increase depending on how popular the teams are and how much publicity is surrounding the game.

Unfortunately FOX Bet doesn’t offer live streaming yet, but of course this is in the pipeline. FOX Bet is still a new venture and with a media giant like FOX Sports behind it, it’s only a matter of time before all the big games are shown live on the website and the mobile app.

FOX Bet Mobile App

FOX Bet really comes into its own on the mobile platforms. The layout is very well designed and the navigation is super-slick. Whether you’re using a smartphone or a tablet, you’ll have no problem finding the wagers you’re looking for here.

The FOX Bet app is available on both iOS and Android, and all the same betting options, features, and promotions are available. You’ll have no problem picking up exactly where you left off when you’re out and about.

If you previously had a BetStars NJ account, you can download the FOX Bet app and use the same login details. The FOX Bet website is essentially a rebranded version of the BetStars site, so you’ll find it very familiar.

Range of Sports at FOX Bet

FOX Bet covers all the major American sports leagues for both pre-match and live in-play betting:

  • NFL
  • NBA
  • MLB
  • PGA
  • NHL
  • MLS

Most of the major tennis tournaments are also covered in full, as are all the big boxing matches. Other worldwide sporting categories include cricket, rugby, and Formula 1.

FOX Bet VIP Scheme

The only FOX Bet VIP scheme currently available is the Stars system, used by all the websites in the Stars Group. This is more geared towards casino users and poker players, but it still allows you to collect points to earn rewards. You can view the options and your current earnings in the My Stars section.

FOX Bet does offer a great selection bonuses for existing customers, however. There is a different offer for every day of the week, with each one being chosen by a particular FOX Sports pundit. These include Colin’s Blazin’ 5, Charissa’s Custom Bet Boost, and Sal’s Money Back Special. You’ll find straight-up price enhancers, parlay boosts, cashback offers, and much more. These bonuses change every week too, so if there are no wagers that you like the look of just check back tomorrow for a fresh offer.
