Milwaukee Brewers at Los Angeles Dodgers Picks & Betting Tips

Milwaukee (95-65) has lost two straight and are 4-6 in last 10. Milwaukee is 50-27 on the road and 20-18 against LHPs.

Burnes held the New York Mets to one run and five hits and recorded nine strikeouts over seven innings in his last appearance on Sept. 25. The 26-year-old has allowed one or fewer runs in nine of his 12 second half outings. He is 7-0 with a 2.21 ERA and 0.95 WHIP post all-star break.

Los Angeles (104-56) is one-game behind NL West leading San Francisco with two games remaining.

The Dodgers have won five in a row three straight and are 8-2 their last 10. Los Angeles is 56-23 at home and 72-42 vs. RHPs.

Urias has been fabulous in the second half. The 25-year-old, who threw five shutout innings against Arizona his last outing, is 8-0 with a 2.10 ERA and .098 WHIP after the all-star break.

Head To Head

Pinch-hitter Matt Beatty hit a solo home run to break a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning and Tre Turner smacked two home runs (grand slam, solo), as the Dodgers defeated the Brewers 8-6. Milwaukee outhit LA 11-10.

The Brewers lead the season-series 3-2 but the Dodgers have won each of the last two games. Los Angeles has outscored Milwaukee 31-21.

Milwaukee Brewers Form

Milwaukee has lost two straight and three of four.

The Brewers, 1-3 on current six-game road trip, are 14-12 in September/October. They have outscored their opponents 111-107 during this stretch.

Milwaukee’s offense has produced 3.4 runs over the last games with a slash line of .222/.314/.373.

The Brewers’ pitching staff has compiled a 6-8 record during this 14-game stretch with an 4.10 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and .240 OBA.

Los Angeles Dodgers Form

Los Angeles has won five straight and 16 of 19 overall.

The Dodgers, who are 4-0 during its current six game homestand, 20-7 in September. They have outscored their opponents 128-85 during this stretch.

The Dodgers’ pitching staff has compiled a 10-3 record during this 13-game stretch with a 3.80 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and .226 OBA.

Los Angeles must win out in order to get a earn a share of the NL West division crown. The Dodgers are in excellent form while the Brewers, who have nothing to play for, are not in top form. Expect a pitching duel between two of the top pitchers, both of whom are in fine form, this year.

Burnes has been fabulous on road (7-0, 1.64 ERA) but he has not fared well in limited opportunities against current members of the Dodgers. Meanwhile, Urias has been very good at Dodger Stadium this year (3.12 ERA) and has been even better over the last three games there.

The Brewers offense has struggled recently, and Milwaukee hasn’t been great against left-handers this year.
