The Tiger-Cats opened the 2025 campaign on the road, suffering a 38-26 defeat at the hands of the Stampeders in Calgary.
That was followed by a defeat in their home opener, as they were beaten 28-23 by Saskatchewan.
That sent Hamilton into their first bye week of the season without a victory, but they were able to get off the mark when they returned to action last weekend.
The Tiger-Cats pulled off an upset as they beat previously unbeaten Montreal, 35-17.
Toronto Argonauts Form
Toronto return home looking to build on their first win of the season, which ended a three-game skid.
The Argonauts lifted the Grey Cup last year, but they made a miserable start to their defence of the crown.
They opened with a 28-10 defeat in Montreal, and that was followed by a 29-19 defeat to Calgary when they hosted the Stampeders in their home opener.
Toronto then fell to 0-3 as they lost at home again, this time falling 39-32 when they entertained Saskatchewan.
The Argonauts did finally stop the rot last weekend though, as they were beaten 29-16 by the Redblacks in Ottawa.
Verdict
Toronto got off the mark last weekend, but they did it against a bad team.
