Montreal head out on the road on the back of a defeat, but they continue to boast the league’s best record at 10-2.
The Alouettes kicked off their defence of the Grey Cup with five consecutive wins, before finally losing 37-18 to Toronto.
They responded to that loss with a five-game win streak that started with a 28-16 win over Saskatchewan and continued with back-to-back wins over Hamilton.
Montreal then went out on the road to beat Saskatchewan 27-24, before returning home to down Edmonton 21-17.
The Alouettes failed to make it six wins in a row however, as they returned from their second bye week of the season with a 37-23 defeat to BC.
Calgary Stampeders Form
Calgary enter this matchup on a four-game losing skid that has left them with a 4-8 record after 14 weeks of the season.
The Stampeders won their opening game of the season and sat at 4-4 in early August, but their playoff hopes have evaporated since then.
They have not won a game since the 27-23 victory over Toronto, which was followed by a 39-25 defeat at the Argonauts.
Calgary then went into the bye at 4-6 when they suffered a 31-29 home defeat at the hands of Ottawa.
The Stampeders returned to action at the start of September and suffered back-to-back defeats to Edmonton, losing 35-20 at home and 37-16 on the road.
Verdict
Montreal may have lost last time out, but this is not the time to abandon the Alouettes.
They have been the cream of the crop in the CFL so far this season and have been a good spread selection on the road, so we expect them to bounce back here.
