Ottawa head out on the road having lost each of their last six games to fall to 3-9 for the season.
The Redblacks opened the season with back-to-back losses, but rebounded to win three of the next four.
They got off the mark with a 26-7 win against Edmonton, and then responded to a 21-13 loss at Hamilton with a 31-28 overtime win against Winnipeg and 43-41 overtime success at Calgary.
Ottawa soon returned to losing ways though, as they were beaten 16-12 by Hamilton before going out on the road to lose 26-24 at Saskatchewan and 44-31 at Toronto.
The Redblacks then sandwiched a 30-20 road loss to Edmonton with a 25-24 home defeat to Montreal and a 27-24 home loss to Hamilton.
BC Lions Form
BC emerge from their second bye week looking to record back-to-back wins for the first time since July.
The Lions made a flying start to the season as they won their first three games, including a 30-6 blowout of Winnipeg on the road.
They then rebounded from a 45-24 loss to defending champions Toronto with three consecutive wins to re4ach 6-1.
BC have cooled off since then though, losing 50-14 at Winnipeg before failing to build on a 37-9 blowout of Calgary.
The Lions lost 34-29 at Saskatchewan and 30-13 at home to Hamilton, before getting back to winning ways with a 34-25 win in Montreal last time out.
Verdict
BC have struggled for consistency recently, but they are backed to have far too much for an Ottawa team who have been terrible on the road.
