Winnipeg head out on the road for the first time in this series having levelled it at 1-1 with their Game 2 victory.
The Jets suffered an early setback as they were beaten 3-2 at home in the series opener, but they rallied on Friday night to post a 4-0 shutout win over Dallas.
They went 56-22-4 to win the Central Division and make the playoffs, but they were made to work hard for the first-round win over St Louis.
Winnipeg opened the series with back-to-back home wins, 2-1 and 5-3, only to then surrender their lead with 7-2 and 5-1 defeats on the road.
The Jets failed to back up a 5-3 home win as they lost 5-2 on the road, but they did clinch the series in Game 7 as they finally took down the Blues, 4-3 in overtime at home.
Winnipeg Jets Form
Dallas return home on the back of a loss but in a good position, having gone 1-1 in Winnipeg to start this series.
The Stars opened the series with a 3-2 victory in Canada, but they failed to follow that up on Friday as they were beaten 4-0 in Game 2.
They went 50-26-6 during the regular season to finish second in their division, but they made a bad start to the postseason as they were beaten 5-1 at home by Colorado.
Dallas responded with a couple of overtime wins, 4-2 at home and 2-1 on the road, but they failed to keep that run going as they then lost 4-0 in Game 4.
The Stars split the next two meetings with the Avalanche, winning 6-2 at home and losing 7-4 on the road, before finally wrapping things up with a 4-2 home win in Game 7.
Verdict
This has all the makings of a back-and-forth series and we expect Dallas to regain the series lead here.
The Stars have been solid at home in recent times, while Winnipeg have lost all three of their road games in the playoffs so far.
